Our Golden Rule
We have a somewhat unusual approach to getting jobs done which is to embrace the concept of the Golden Rule, also known as the ethic of reciprocity.
This is an ethical code that essentially requires you to treat others as you would like others to treat you. In other words, we don't ask for provisions in a deal that we wouldn't agree to if asked ourselves. This concept almost always accords with the client’s approach to the deal. It enables us to conclude transactions far more speedily than would be the case if every tiny point is argued for hours on end.
Commercial Terms
Wherever possible, we embrace the "fixed fee" approach which is so much more appealing to the client than the hourly related approach. Hourly rates encourage lawyers to waste time and money debating silly points. Fixed fees encourage lawyers to get the job done.
Utopia is the state where the client gets the legal service provided at a lower fee than they had expected. Similarly, the lawyer can end up making more profit than he expected to make. Where fixed fees are not possible we offer competitive hourly rates.
Our People
Our lawyers are driven, enthusiastic, approachable and commercially aware.
Abrahams Dresden currently has six partners and a further 11 fee earners. We have grown organically over the years and continue to do so.
